The SerenaGroup® has conducted the Introduction to Hyperbaric Medicine course through-out the world for more than a decade. Led by Dr. Thomas Serena and his team of experts in advanced wound care and hyperbaric medicine the 40-hour course covers a wide range of topics from wound care principles to physics and indications for hyperbaric therapy. In addition, the SerenaGroup® team reviews hyperbaric billing and reimbursement, compliance and instituting meaningful quality metrics. The curriculum combines didactic lectures with hands-on practical sessions in a casual interactive atmosphere that facilitates learning and retention. Designed for physicians, nurses, and technicians, attendees will garner knowledge that immediately impacts their practice. The course satisfies the Centers for Medicare Services educational requirements for provider billing for hyperbaric treatments.
