Dr. Cynthia Hemesath, DPM is a board-certified Podiatric Surgeon and Wound Specialist. She has been in private practice since graduating residency in 2009. She moved to North Texas to care for family and to be closer to grandchildren and recently relocated her office to Henrietta Texas where she and her daugher, Leah Palmer FNP, will be healing patients with hopes to end needless pain for their patients as well as heal their life-threatening wounds. Dr. Hemesath is living proof that one can do anything they aspire to at any age. After her three children graduated high school, she began her career in medicine graduating from Austin College in Texas and the William Scholl School of Podiatry, Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago. She completed her PMS-36 residency in New Mexico in 2009 with a surgical emphasis on ankle trauma and immediately set out to make the world a better place in an underserved area of South Texas Aransas Pass. Cindy has received numerous awards for her work but the awards she is most proud of are her children, grandchildren, husband and family. Patients named her “Favorite Physician” in Rockport, Texas and then again in Corpus Christi where she was employed with Wellmed developing Podiatry within their South Texas Clinics from 2013 -2018 She serves on the Board of Directors since 2018 for the National Non for Profit Organization Mission of Mercy serving those in need in Texas, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Maryland. She has been a speaker in various topics regarding wound care at the International Foot and Ankle Foundation seminars across the globe since 2015. Dr. Hemesath volunteers, loves to travel and looks forward to the day that all people are treated equally and respectfully. She looks to God to direct her as to be the type of person He deems worthy of such dreams being fulfilled.
